Object Explorer and Connection Manager windows are missing or not displayed.
Description

Object Explorer and Connection Manager windows are missing, not showing or not displayed.
After closing the Object Explorer and Connection Manager windows, it is not possible to reopen them with F8 or with the View menu.
Resolution

RESOLUTION:
1. Open Toad For SQL Server.
2. Go to Help | About and click on the "Application Data Directory" link. A new windows explorer window will open.
3. Close Toad for SQL Server.
4. Go to the windows explorer window that was open and go one folder up.
5. Rename the ‘Toad for SQL Server 6.1’ to ‘Toad for SQL Server 6.1 OLD’.
6. Restart Toad for SQL Server.
7. Do not ‘migrate’ settings from old versions.
8. The windows will now appear again.
Note that by doing this you will lose your Toad Settings.
