Description

Is there a feature in the Toad editor that allows the editor to auto highlight a selected word?
Cause

This feature is available on Toad for SQL Server 7.0 but, the option is not turned on by default.
Resolution

SOLUTION:
Go to Tools | Options | Editor - Tools and check the checkbox "Auto highlight selected word" and Apply and OK.
NOTE: The option is not available in some versions prior. To ensure to gain this capability, download the latest version of Toad for SQL Server here.
