Refreshing database node is not refreshing all branches within node in Object Explorer -
Description
User has the Object Explorer in Tree view. Userworking in the Editor window and writes a script to create a view based on a select statement. After they execute the script, the new view does not appear in the Object Explorer under the Vew node. If they right click on the Database node and select refresh, the screen flickers as if it did a refresh, but in the View node, it still does not display the new view.
If the user clicks on the View node and selects refresh, then the view appears. If a User clicks on the Database node and selects refresh, it should refresh everything within the that node. -
Resolution
STATUS:
This issue has been reported to the development team and is waiting for fix in a future release of Toad for SQL Server.
