Get "Server user <user_name> is not a valid user in database <server_name>" hovering over database (4239074)

Getting a message saying "Server user is not a valid user in database " when hovering over the databases in the Object Explorer.  Also, all the database icons have x's on them in the Object Explorer.

Also, the Object Search is unusable, it's Database list is empty and one cannot select one to run a search, even though one has an active connection.

The error is being given because SQL Server 2014 is being connected to in a version of Toad for SQL Server that does not support it.

Install Toad for SQL Server version 6.5 and newer for SQL Server 2014 support. This can be downloaded from the Support Portal Toad for SQL Server page.
