Scrollbars shifting position in editor when the line of code is larger that the editor window.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
Edit a package(or any pl/sl code) having navigator on LHS, editor RHS, standard desktop panels below. For example: My file is max 50 chars wide on the first 30 lines so I don't see a horizontal scrollbar when I open my file and am on line 1 - this is expected.
I scroll down the page by using my mouse to click the down arrow on the scrollbar.
When I scroll down to line 30, which happens to be more than 80 characters wide, the horizontal scrollbar appears, creating a second down arrow on the vertical scrollbar. The bottom arrow doesn't work, so I click on the arrow directly above which continues scrolling. First problem manifested.
Because Line 30 is the only line more than 80 characters, when I get to say line 55, and my visible lines are now all less than 80 characaters, the horizontal scrollbar disappears again which is expected, however, now when I continue clicking to scroll I end up clicking the space between the slider and the down arrow, causing my code to page down unexpectedly. Second problem manifested.
Waiting for fix in a future release of Toad for Oracle
