Would it be possible to add a line for the null lines in the output of the Script Runner?
To reproduce the problem please follow the steps below:
1. Execute the following script in Toad (10.5):
--------------------------------------------
create table test (
id number,
comment1 varchar2(10));
insert into test values (1,'comment1');
insert into test values (1,'');
insert into test values (1,'comment2');
commit;
/
--------------------------------------------
2. Now run the following query in the SQL Editor with F9 or control +enter:
Â
select comment1 from test;
The output is :
---------------------------
comment1
comment2
---------------------------
You will get :
----------------------------------------------
COMMENT1
----------
comment1
comment2
3 rows selected.
----------------------------------------------
Â
The script tells you that there are 3 rows selected but you only can see 2 (there is not a blank line for the row with the comment null)
If you run this with QSR you have the same problem:
COMMENT1
----------
comment1
comment2
3 rows selected.
In SQl Plus you get:
------------------------------
comment1
Â
comment2
------------------------------
with a blank line between..
Should Toad and QSR add a blank line?
