User upgrades to Toad for Oracle 9.7 from Toad 9.6.1 and when launching Toad the SQL History is blank.
SavedSQL.dat is now located in default location:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user_name>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\9.7\User Files
After upgrading Toad, follow the steps below:
1. Close Toad.
2. Browse to default location:
C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\User Files
3. Locate the file, SavedSQL.dat.
4. Copy that file and paste it to new default location:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user_name>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\9.7\User Files
NOTE: If an existing SavedSQL.dat exits, you may choose to overwrite it or rename it to SavedSQL.dat.OLD.
5. Re-launch Toad and re-open the SQL History (F8) and the SQL history should be restored.
