Compare Files doesn't reload when “Reload and Recompare Files” icon is clicked.

Replicating steps - 

1. Run schema compare against a pair of schemas that have at least one procedure/package difference

2. On the results tab, double-click a procedure that exists in both schemas but is different

3. Go to Editor and change one of the procedures

4. Go back to file compare window which was launched from schema compare

The “Run” button’s hint is “Reload and Recompare Files”.  This is a bit misleading if the side-by-side viewer was not launched from a file, but was launched from Compare Schemas (which loaded schema info into memory and sent that to the side-by-side viewer). It will re-compare, but it won’t reload the procedures after they have been changed

WORKAROUND:
Please run the schema compare again after making the change.

STATUS:
Waiting for fix in a future release of Toad for Oracle.
