Getting error "Access Violation at address 1E6C035D in module 'oraociei19.dll'. Read of address FFFFFFFF"" after replacing Oracle Instant Client version 19.10 with 19.16.
Using Toad for Oracle 15.

Cause
It looks a very specific issue with that oracle client version and Toad 15. -
Resolution
Upgrade to the latest version of Toad that can be downloaded here .
If that is not possible, use another Oracle client version (confirmed that with 19.17 and 21.7 the error does not occur )
