Connection Window, How to manually add addition custom connection columns (4364168)

After opening new session dialog box, I used to be able to edit name of schema connection.
I used to be able to store additional information such as password hint (not hidden) or a database description.
After re-installing Toad, however, I can no longer type anything into this field.
Is there some configuration option I need to turn on so I can edit it?

1. In the database login window, click on the fourth icon: Edit custom fields
2. In this panel, add the columns one desires via the Add… button, such as : Descriptions & Password Hint
3. In the connection grid, confirm that these newly added columns are checked.
4. From here you can input strings into the cells. You can move the orientation by dragging the column heading to the desired location.
