Description
Loading the list of packages in Schema Browser | Packages is very slow in version 12.8. This is working fine in version 12.7 but in version 12.8 it can take minutes instead of seconds when connecting to a database with a lot of packages
Resolution
WORKAROUND
Use version 12.7 of Toad For Oracle.
STATUS
Issue fixed in version 12.9. The latest version of Toad for Oracle can be downloaded at: https://support.quest.com/toad-for-oracle/download-new-releases
