Toad for Oracle asking to validate the Toad subscription using Quest account
Description

Completed installation and Toad asks to validate the Toad subscription using the Quest credentials.
Then it returns this error: An error occurred while signing you in.Your machine is connected to the internet, but an unknown error occurred that prevented your license from being validated successfully.
Cause

Using the wrong Toad installer.
The installer being used is for Toad for Oracle Subscription and this installed has to be used only when Toad for Oracle Subscription is purchased.
The standard edition do not asks to validate the account.
Resolution

Uninstall Toad for Oracle subscription and install Toad for Oracle.
