When a computer is cloned, Toad creates a new User Folder with every connection.
This didn't happen with previous versions of Toad.
That happens because the user folder path contains the username.
RESOLUTION
1. Open the Registry Editor of the cloned computer by going to Start | Run | regedit. Click OK.
2. Browse to HKEY_Current_User | Software | Quest Software | Toad for Oracle | Installations.
3. AppData is pointing to C:\Documents and Settings\USER_NAME_ORIGINAL\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\9.7. Change that to
C:\Documents and Settings\USER_NAME_CLONED_COMPUTER\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\9.7
Note: As in Toad For Oracle 10 is posible to choose the User Folder destination, this problem will disappear. Just select a path without the name of the user on it.
