ORA-01480 or ORA-01461 when using "copy data to another schema"
Description

The Copy data to another schema in Schema Browser generates:

Error Message:
ORA-01480: trailing null missing from STR bind value

Error Message:
ORA-01461: can bind a LONG value only for insert into a LONG column
Cause

A string containing an apostrophe, CHR(10,12), CR, LF, or other special character appeared to cause a problem.
Resolution

WORKAROUND:
None.

STATUS:
Issue fixed in version 9.1. The latest version of Toad for Oracle can be downloaded here.
