The user creates a user with CONNECT, QUEST_SL_SQLAB_ROLE, RESOURCE; and system privileges: CREATE TYPE, DEBUG ANY PROCEDURE, DEBUG CONNECT SESSION, UNLIMITED TABLESPACE as schema A.
They connect to Toad as schema A and schema B
Open a schema Browser for Schema B.
Load a procedure form Schema B In the proc editor (Simple package, procedure or function) Note that the object does not have any dependents.
Switch connections to Schema A and compile simple proc in Schema A. In previous versions Toad will allow you to compile the package with Debug mode on. In Toad 8.0, the only way to compile this in Schema A is with Debug mode off.
Once the package has been added to schema A, toggle debugger to on and Toad will allow you to compile.
