Toad for Oracle 12.0.0. Cancelling a simple query hangs or freezes Toad. This problem does not happen in Toad 11.6.1 on the same machine.It just keeps on showing cancelling.
Resolution
Use the latest version of Toad for Oracle. It can be downloaded here.
