Dates show up as decimal numbers instead of a date format when data is exported to an Excel file (4307751)

When selecting the 'Save As' option in the data grid  and then choosing the  Export Format: 'Excel File', the generated file has the wrong Date Format; it is in decimal number instead.

WORKAROUND 1:

Choose "Excel Instance" as the Export Format, and then manually perform a Save As in the Excel application.

WORKAROUND 2:

For Excel files that you have already generated that contains the wrong Date Format, open the generate Excel file and then perform a "Format Cell" and change the cell(s) to Date format.
