When switching between two database connections, the Object Palette is not refreshing Views/Tables correctly. The list will be empty. Steps to replicate:
1. Launch Toad
2. Select the needed connection record from list and connect to a database db1, username=usr1 (oracle 10g)
3. View | Object Palette - displays tables list dropdown for db 1
4. Click "+" button on the toolbar and connect to db 2, username=usr1 (Oracle 10g)
5. Object palette now shows Tables from db 2/usr1
6. Switch Object palette to "Views". Views of db 2/usr1 are shown Ok.
7. Switch to connection db1/usr1 (press "db1@usr1" button on the toolbar)
8. Object palette now shows the tables of db 1/usr1
9. Switch Object palette to "Views" - Views list is empty
WORKAROUND:
1. Switch to connection db 2/usr1 (press "db 2@usr1" button on the toolbar)
2. Switch back to connection db 1/usr1 (press "db 1@usr1" button on the toolbar)
3. The Views of db1/usr1 will now display
STATUS:
Waiting for fix in a future release of Toad for Oracle
