Toad for Oracle 10.0.0 gets error: "Object type not supported" when connecting to Oracle 7.3.4 da
Description

When I try to view my tables using Toad for Oracle 10.0.0, I get the error, "Object type not supported". I am connecting to an Oracle 7.3.4 database.
Resolution

Toad for Oracle 10.0.0 no longer supports Oracle 7.3.4 Database. Please use Toad for Oracle 9.7.2.5 for Oracle Database 7.3.4 and 8.0.6 (or any that is lower than an 8i database).
Additional Information

Toad for Oracle 10.0.0 also no longer supports Oracle Client 8.0.6
