User has a script which has been working in previous versions of Toad. The user upgraded Toad and the script no longer runs correctly. For example, the user gets an error "missing right parenthesis" even though the SQL is valid.
A setting or a file was corrupted during the upgrade
RESOLUTION
1. Shut down Toad.
2. Browse to C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\10.6\
3. Locate the folder "User Files." Rename it "User Files Backup."
4. Launch Toad. If prompted to import old settings, select No. A new "User Files" folder will be created.
5. Connect to a database and retest the issue.
