User tries to launch Toad for Oracle from a Citrix server with non-administrator privileges and gets the error message "A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed." They are able to click OK and continue without any issues. They also receive the same message when shutting down Toad.
If the user has Administrator privileges on the Citrix server they do not get the error message.
RESOLUTION:
1. Make sure the user has sufficient privileges on the Citrix server. Toad Release Notes and Installation Guide recommend a Power User level or privileges.
2. Make sure the user has a 32-bit Oracle client installed. Toad for Oracle does not support a 64-bit Oracle client.
