Can SQLLDR80.exe be used instead of SQLLDR.exe in Toad? Are they the same?
SQLLDR.exe and SQLLDR80.exe are used by Toad's SQL Loader and they will both work the same way.
The number within SQLLDR[##].exe file name is part of the name i.e. SQLLDR[version of your Oracle Client].EXE. The SQL*Loader program may have a version number included as part of its name, such as sqlldr73.exe or sqlldr80.exe. Or it will be just sqlldr.exe. File can bel located under ORAWIN95 or ORANT \BIN directory. If it's not installed, it can be installed through Oracle Client Software installation CD and install "UTILITIES".
