Option "Use single Editor instance for PL/SQL if possible" has no effect -
Description
Option "Use single Editor instance for PL/SQL if possible" accessed via View | Options| Editor | Behavior menu option has no affect if is changed. Unchecking this option still results in Packages to load into the same Editor window.

Cause
When this option is checked, this option loads PL/SQL into a separate editor if and only if there are existing tabs with strictly SQL in them. This was not working.

WORKAROUND:
None.
STATUS:
Issue fixed in version 9.1.0.62. The latest version of Toad for Oracle can be downloaded here. -
