Editor, List index out of bounds (-1), Restart Toad for Oracle is checked.Toad crashes and restarts excessively. -
Resolution
1. Close Toad
2. Go to C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\11.6 folder
3. If there is a QSAuth11.key file, open it with Notepad and copy key number and site message to a temporary location.
4. Go to C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle folder
5. Rename "11.6" folder to "11.6 OLD"
6. Re-launch Toad*
7. If prompted, re-enter key and site message
*Note the above changes will reset all user settings and Connection passwords in Toad.
Close Toad for Oracle again.
Copy these files from the 11.6 OLD folders into the new 11.6 folder.
