When going to File | Open and try typing in certain paths, it doesn't follow conventional open dialog behavior when using the keyboard. For example if I'm currently seeing the contents of c:\dir1\dir2 in the open window, and I type "c:\dir1\dir3\file.txt" that works. The following does not work:
1) If type "..\" and hit enter, nothing happens.
2) If type "..\dir3" this does not work, it throws an error, but if I type "..\dir3" then press the down arrow to move my selection to the "c:\dir1\dir3\" result that appears below the path textbox then that works.
3) If a path in the textbox, such as "c:\dir1\dir3" and I press SHIFT+HOME to select all the text to delete it and type in a new path, nothing happens. (CTRL+A works, but is counter-intuitive)
4) If currently in c:\dir1 viewing the contents of c:\dir1 which are dir2 and dir3, if I type "dir2" into the textbox and hit enter, get an error dialog "File: c:\dir1\dir2 doesn't exist" If you try all of these scenarios with notepad.exe they all work as expected.
