Modified date and permission displays are incorrect when using Toad FTP utility -
Description
When using the Toad for Oracle FTP utility, connecting to a Windows FTP server displays the modified date and permission of files incorrectly. Dates are all displayed as 12/30/1899 and permissions are displayed like date format.

Cause
The reason is because the Directory Listing style of the FTP server in Windows is set to "MS-DOS" instead of "UNIX".

Resolution
Open the Default FTP site properties of the Windows server and change the directory listing style under Home directory to UNIX instead of MS-DOS. Reconnect Toad FTP and it should display fine.
