Get "OCI version 7.2.2.4.1 is not supported" when connecting -
Description
When connecting to a database with Toad, I get an message that says "OCI version 7.2.2.4.1 is not supported".

Cause
The Oracle client being used is too old and is not supported by Toad.

Resolution
Upgrade your Oracle client.
Toad supports Oracle versions 8.1.7, 9i, 10g, 11g, and instant clients.
You can download a client from the Oracle website for free.
