LDAP Editor disabled
Description

The LDAP editor button in Toad for Oracle login window is disabled / grayed out (no tick mark).
Cause

CAUSE 1
Missing ldap.ora file under $ORACLE_HOME\network\admin
CAUSE 2
Unsupported Oracle client version
Resolution

WORKAROUND 1
Be sure that an ldap.ora file exists under the $ORACLE_HOME\network\admin folder
WORKAROUND 2
Install a supported Oracle client version (e.g. 9i or higher). Refer to the Toad for Oracle Release Notes for a complete list of supported versions.
