When the Schema Browser is set to Treeview, when Toad is first opened, and you click on the 'Tables' node of the treeview, the list of tables in the middle panel of the screen appears.
If you compare the list in the middle panel with the list of tables in the Object Palette on the right hand side, the order of the middle panel is not exactly alphabetical compared to the Object Palette, and the order appears different than that of the Object Palette.
This happens because there is no default sort on the table names list (middle panel) when Treeview mode is selected.
When Tabbed Mode is selected, this issue doesn't occur.
