Team Coding objects not detected for SQL Navigator repository -
Description
When using both Toad and SQL Navigator, team coding shares the same repository for both tools. However Toad v11.6 does not recognize SQL Navigator's team coding repository and requires new tables (tc install script contains tc_xxxxx table names).
Toad 11.6 reports that no team coding support installed.
Toad 11.5.1 works ok (You can check out and check in without errors) -
Resolution
WORKAROUND:
Toad 11.6 and Toad 12 beta does not recognize Team Coding Objects created by SQL Navigator.The work around is to create a public synonym for SQLNAV Team Coding Table.
CREATE PUBLIC SYNONYM QUEST_COM_TEAM_CODING for SQLNAV.SQLNAV4_VCS_CONFIG;
This will enable Team Coding in Toad.
The Team Coding Configuration Screen will complain that a Table does not exist if you try to save the Team Coding Configuration in Toad, so any changes to settings must be done in SQL Nav.STATUS:
