Description
If I copy a DDL from the Schema Browser or Describe Window's Script tab, when I paste it somewhere outside of Toad, the case of the characters is not the same as it was in the Script tab.

Cause
The script tab editor has been set up as a read-only window. A read-only window cannot have its text method modified, so the visual effects are not committed to the data text.

Resolution
WORKAROUND:
Copy the DDL from the Script tab and past it into Toad's editor. Then, copy the text from the Toad editor and paste it where you want it displayed outside of Toad.
STATUS:
Development looked into changing this to not be a read-only window, but found that in doing so, it would create several side effects that would cause too many new problems in Toad. For that reason, unfortunately, this window will have to stay read-only.
