Toad continues to show a query as running even after the query has completed on the server. This only happens with queries that take approximately 20 minutes or longer to run. There are no results display. Once the query is completed on the server, clicking cancel in Toad, the following error occurs 'Could not send TNS break'.

Possible workaround:
Turn on DBMS polling to constantly ping database server. Go to Toad's Editor | DBMS Output tab and click on the red circle icon to enable it (should now be green)
