Description
Originally, there were no problems working in debugger and walking through the tutorials.
Later, the debug tabs (i.e. breakpoints, watches, etc) were missing. Trying to bring them back by right clicking | Desktop Panels did not work. Breaks and watches are set and debugger was run again. But as these points were hit by the debugger, the panels did not come up and Toad would error out:
Control dpPECallStackFrame has no parent window.
This is a new install of Toad. The panels are unpinned so it pops up and down when accessed. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND:
Pin up the tabs in the Editor window, right click | Desktop Panels and choose what tabs to open. This will bring the panels back up.
Debugging after opening these panels should prevent the error. If the tabs are removed again or the panel is set to un-pinned so that it pops up and down when accessed, these errors should not be a problem anymore either.
