Error, "Email settings are not completely configured for Schema Compare" when using Email opti -
Description
I selected the option to e-mail the schema compare results in the Schema Compare tool in Toad for Oracle. When I click the green arrow button to run the compare, I receive the following error message:
Email settings are not completely configured for Schema Compare.
Deselect email output or complete settings in Options -> Email. -
Resolution
In the Toad Options, ensure that all fields besides the CC and BCC are filled out.
1. Go to View | Toad Options, from the main menu.
2. Select Email Settings on the left side, click the Schema Comparison Window and fill out the following required fields:* SMTP Server
* User Name
* Port
* Password (check box and field, if required)
* To
* Subject
* From Name
* From Address
* Reply To
* Priority3. Click Apply and OK.
