How to view multiple objects definitions at once.
There are various ways of accessing an object's script. Mainly you can go to schema browser, choose the objects listed (i.e. go to the tables tab, select multiple tables) then right click | "Create Script". From there the dialogue window will give you the option to send to editor where you can choose to send all to one window ("as script") or each object in a separate tab ("one object per tab"). Some object's right click menu has the option to "Load into Editor" (i.e. packages, procedures, functions). You can select multiple here too and right click, to send to editor.
Another option is to use Search menu | Object Search. Search for the various objects you'd like to review. Once the search is run, and results listed, you can highlight in that list, and choose to "Generate DDL script..." using the toolbar button within the results tab of that search. This will bring up a similar window to the prompt you get from the schema browser | right click | Create Script.
Applies to various versions of Toad.
