Using Legacy Source Control (Team Coding is not enabled) and when a mapped network drive is set as the local working directory the following error is displayed
<\\network path \package name> does not exist in project <projectname>
Steps to replicate:
1. Open sql file from a mapped network drive e.g T:\mydocs\test.sql (This file is already in VSS project)
2. Right-click Editor | Source Control
3. Select Project
4. login in to VSS repository
5. Click project folder
6. Browse to mapped drive network folder (e.g T:\mydocs) | OK |OK
7. Right-click editor | Source Control | select latest version
results in error:
<\\network path \package name> does not exist in project <projectname>
A different error is displayed if check-out/in is attempted:
SCC error: File not controlled
WORKAROUND
1.Disconnect the mapped network drive
2. In Toad select project using the full path name of the folder (as described in steps 1-6) Save
3. Close Toad
4. Reconnect the network drive. The full path name has been stored as the location of the working folder for the project.
This will need to be repeated for each project that has a local working directory mapped to a network drive
STATUS
Waiting for fix in a future release of Toad for Oracle
