TOAD does not start after installing with the Citrix/Terminal Server option to a Windows 2003 Standard Server (German) Service Pack 1 with Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server 4.0 installed. The installation is successful, but TOAD does not launch after rebooting.
RESOLUTION:
This issue can be resolved by adding the product in question to DEP exclude list as follows:
1. Go to Control Panel
2. Double click on System icon
3. Select Advanced tab
4. Click on 'Settings' button in 'Performance' section
5. Select 'Data Execution Prevention' tab
6. Click Add button and navigate to the product in question executable file (e.g. suiteinstall.exe) to include it in the 'DEP Exclude' list.
Note: The user will need to log in as the administrator to carry out these steps and remember to restart the machine when it is safe to do so.
