Insert statement is taking up a large amount of memory on workstation -
Description
A SQL statement with select, insert command was issued from Toad for DB2. It selected data from multiple tables, each of them containing several million rows. The result set is 15 rows to be inserted.
Task manager was monitored and found memory usage of Toad went up to 1GB. The memory spike happened immediately after executing the Insert statement and then the memory went back down to normal immediately after the Insert was finished. It took 15 minutes for this SQL statement. -

STATUS
Waiting for a fix with CR/ST 59169 on a future release of Toad for DB2. -
