Alla did some tests and it appear it’s doing this because it’s triggering on the SET SCHEMA statement. Apparently when the DBA’s run the grant script, they use the set schema statement at the top so they only have to modify one statement for a particular environment, or DB2 is just showing it that way. Makes sense, but doesn’t make sense that TOAD would trigger a difference because of that, or at least it should be configurable to suppress those differences.
Is it possible to configure the schema compare to not flag a difference with GRANTS when the only difference is the 'set schema' statement?
If the capability to compare grants exists but ignore set schema then we want to know how otherwise it's an enhancement request. So far all we've seen is how to not do the grant compare at all."
