Unable to run a CLI/ODBC trace on a Toad for DB2 instance -
Description
Unable to generate a CLI/ODBC trace on a Toad for DB2 instance. When following the steps below to enable a trace, no data is generated:

To turn on the DB2 CLI Trace On a Windows machine:
- Create a directory, i.e. c:\temp\trace.
- Edit the db2cli.ini file located in the c:\sqllib directory or c:\program files\ibm\sqllib directory.
- Add the following section to the file:
[COMMON]
Trace=1
TracePathName=c:\temp\trace
TraceComm=1
TraceFlush=1- Save the file with one blank line at the end to prevent any parsing errors.
- Verify the correct keywords are set, open a command window and issue the following command:
db2 GET CLI CFG FOR SECTION COMMON
- Restart DB2.

Tracing doesn't currently work with the DB2 client
