Database Explorer does not automatically open new tabs for subsequent connections using File menu
Description

A new database explorer tab for each new connections is not being created using the File | New | Connection, menu option from the main menu. The connection is created, but the explorer window still focuses on the previous connection.
Resolution

WORKAROUND:

Use the "create new connection" option within the Connection Manager.

STATUS:

Waiting for a fix in a future release of Toad for DB2.

Additional Information

To Replicate: 1. A brand new install, go to File | New | connection and create a DB2 connection. 2. The Database explorer will populate for DB_Con1. 3. Go to File | New | connection to create a DB2 connection to DB_Con2. 4. Notice that a connection is made to DB_Con2, but the only Database Explorer tab that is seen is for DB_Con1.
