RESOLUTION 1:
If the user does not have Administrator Rights to perform the installation using an.EXE file, download and use the MSI Installer (Special Installation Only) zip file instead.
If the .MSI file also does not work, please have your IT / Helpdesk / Network Admin people install the product for you.
RESOLUTION 2:
The system UAC Security Policy setting incorrectly will cause the UAC does not prompt to ask the administrative authentication. Follow up below step to check your system UAC security Policy setting and correct it to make sure the installation successfully.
o Open the Command Line windows and issue “secpol.msc” then enter.
o Open the “Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options”. In the details pane, scroll down to the policies whose names begin with “User Account Control”. For each policy. Double-click it and correct it value to those following settings:
- User Account Control: Admin Approval Mode for the Build-in Administrator account(Disabled)
- User Account Control: Allow UIAccess applications to prompt for elevation without using the secure desktop(Disabled)
- User Account Control: Behavior of the elevation prompt for administrators in Admin Approval Mode(Elevate without prompting)
- User Account Control: Behavior of the elevation prompt for standard users(Prompt for credentials)
- User Account Control: Detect application installations and prompt for Elevation(Enabled)
- User Account Control: Only elevate executables that are signed and validated(Disabled)
- User Account Control: Only elevate UIAccess applications that are installed in secure locations(Enabled)
- User Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin Approval Mode(Enabled)
- User Account Control: Switch to the secure desktop when prompting for elevation(Disabled)
- User Account Control: Virtualize file and registry write failures to per-user locations(Enabled)
o Restart your computer and perform the installation again.
