When exporting to Excel Instance, the exported numerics have extra decimals added to the number. The actual value in the database and shown in the Toad data grid does not use these decimals/zeros.
The number format setting for Toad''s Grid is "Standard" (Options | General | Grid). The table's column is of type numeric(18,0).
The data displays in the grid as whole numbers (i.e. 1, 20, 7891). Run a query and retrieve the data in the data grid. The values look correct here. Right click | Export | Excel Instance (or export wizard and then chooses Excel Instance in there). This exports into Excel with extras zeros (i.e. 1.00000, 20.00000, 7891.00000).
Why are there extra decimal/zeros and how do you export without these?
Export to "Excel" file and save, instead of exporting to "Excel Instance"
Waiting for fix in a future version of Toad for Data Analysts.
Not an issue in previous versions of Toad for Data Analysts.
