Using Object Explorer options, user can create or drop stored procedures. However, using the Alter Procedure option, when user attempts to generate the modified script, Toad returns the below error:
"The extended alter feature requires a Toad DB2/DBA License. Please contact your Quest sales representative for details. "
Any DB2 object that requires a drop and recreate such as modifying store proecedure code requires using Toad for DB2 product with a DBA license key.
Modify procedure code via Editor window of Toad by the following steps:
1. In Object Explorer, right-click on a procedure name and select View Details option.
2. Under Script tab, select “Open in SQL Editor” icon.
3. Add DROP SPECIFIC PROCEDURE <schema name>.<specified Id number> line to code. Modify code accordingly and run it by using the F5 function key "Execute entire script" icon.
