Can you embed automation scripts down to 3 levels of embedding in Toad Data Point? -
Description
Is it possible to embed an automation script within a script, within another script in Toad Data Point (TDP)?
When selecting "Embed files into Automation script", an error occurs when attempting to run an automation script which contains two scripts embedded within each other.
Example:1) In TDP create 3 scripts:
Parent.tas
Child.tas
Grandchild.tas2) In Child.tas, add "Run Automation Script" and select the Grandchild.tas.
4) Select "Embed files into automation script" in Settings and save Child.tas.
5) In Parent.tas, add "Run Automation Script" and select the Child.tas.
6) Select "Embed files into automation script" and save Parent.tas.
7) Run Parent.tas
The script errors with a variant of the below:"Run_Script_1 - There is an error in XML document (12, 69).
Data at the root level is invalid. Line 12, position 69.
Failed
Automation Script had fatal error: Return Code = 999
Run_Script_1 - Automation Script Activity Failed"
When leaving the files un-embedded, this issue does not occur. However this prevents usage of an embedded script published onto Toad Intelligence Central.
