Alter View (or Create Like) does not display the sql script correctly (4302472)

When trying to alter a view (Object Palette | Views | <Right Click> Alter View), the sql script does not display correctly. Some of the sql is displayed but then it changes to a series of boxes and the full script is not displayed. On another Toad for Data Analysts installation, the same view can be displayed in full. In yet another installation, the view script does not show completely, but it doesn't display the boxes (it just chops off the rest of the script).

Issue appears to be environment specific.

WORKAROUND:

Use generate SQL i.e. <Right Click> on view | Generate SQL | To Editor | Creation Script and the entire script will be copied to an editor window. Changes can be made here.
