Description
While in Cross-Connection Querying Builder, user gets the error below when a local Excel file is added in the Diagram.

Invalid data source definition: General error Unable to open registry key Temporary (volatile) Ace DSN for process 0x36a8 Thread 0x1268 DBC 0x1cd27fe4
If the same query is run in a regular SQL Editor window, it runs fine.
Also noticed opening a regular 'SQL Editor' window or a 'Cross Connection SQL Editor' window always opened a Query Builder window (the tab is named Query Builder).

Resolution
Fully exit and restart Toad resolved the issue per one user report.
