Description
Getting error "Invalid data source definition: Driver's SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_ENV failed" when trying to do a Cross Connection in Query Builder. -
Cause
Odbc connection is not set up or working correctly. Test the odbc connection. -
Resolution
Test the back end odbc connection in windows. If connection is bad, select a oracle odbc driver or reinstall oracle client to get a new driver. Run test connection again. Once connection is sucessful, be sure to select the new oracle client to connect to database with Toad.
