Cannot select Service Name radio button in Direct tab when no Oracle client installed
Description

Not able to select the Service Name radio button in Direct tab when no Oracle client is installed. The Service Name is not grayed out or anything, but attempting to click the radio button and nothing happens, it's always defaulted to SID.
Resolution

WORKAROUND:
Download and install a compatible Oracle Instant client from Oracle:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/features/instant-client/index-097480.html
Once installed, restart Toad and the direct tab will allow the Service Name radio button to be selected.
STATUS:
Waiting for a fix in a future release of Toad Data Point.
