Description
User has DB2 7 client tools or ODBC drivers installed. User then installs Toad for Data Analysis but then the DB2 tools stop working.

Cause
Toad for Data Analysis is not compatible with DB2 version 7. Toad for Data Analysis comes with a DB2 client version 9. Version 9 and version 7 are not compatible.

Resolution
STATUS:
Toad for Data Analysis version 1.1 now warns the user about DB2 7 conflicts and prompts the user to uninstall DB2 7 clients.
WORKAROUND:
Uninstall the DB2 7 clients before installing Toad for Data Analysis. Alternatively, upgrade the DB2 client to version 8 then run the Toad for Data Analysis.
